Parenting Session at St. Joseph’s Anglo-Indian Girls’ Higher Secondary School

On 27th July 2024, a highly insightful session on Parenting was conducted at St. Joseph's Anglo-Indian Girls' Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode. The session was led by Ms. Smrithi M., a Clinical Psychologist from the Wellness Clinic, who provided parents with valuable guidance on effective parenting strategies and the importance of nurturing a healthy parent-child relationship.

Session Highlights:

Ms. Smrithi M. addressed various aspects of parenting, including communication techniques, understanding children's emotional needs, and fostering a supportive home environment. Her practical advice and empathetic approach resonated deeply with the attending parents.

Following the session, an open forum was held where parents were encouraged to raise any personal concerns or questions. Recognizing the need for individualized support, the event organizers arranged for parents to meet with psychologists from the Wellness Clinic.

Counseling Sessions:

Over 50 parents took advantage of this opportunity to have one-on-one counseling sessions. A team of 15 psychologists from the Wellness Clinic was on hand to provide personalized guidance and support. Each psychologist handled the concerns of the parents with great care and professionalism, ensuring that their queries were addressed effectively.
