Our Psychologist
Dr. Krishna S Unny is a compassionate and highly skilled psychiatrist, currently working at the Government Mental Health Centre, Kuthiravattom, Kozhikode. She brings extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions across diverse patient populations. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, she specializes in comprehensive psychiatric assessments, individualized treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Her clinical expertise spans mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic conditions, substance use disorders, and perinatal mental health, with a deep commitment to culturally sensitive and patient-centered care.
In addition to her government service, Dr. Krishna also offers consultation at Wellness Clinic, Kozhikode from 3:30 PM onwards. With experience across private practice and high-volume clinical settings, she combines clinical excellence with empathy and ethical practice. She is proficient in advanced therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), stress and anger management, sleep psychiatry, and behavioral coaching.
